Absolutely — feeding support works best as a team effort.
Yes — every visit includes a written plan and secure messaging access to make sure all of your questions and concerns are addressed.
Twin- and Multiples-Specific Support
Feeding twins is its own adventure! It’s not just about doing everything twice — each baby often has their own pace, preferences, and challenges. Add in the logistics of trying to feed two at once, and it can feel like a lot. Having worked with over 300 twin families (and raising two sets myself!), I know firsthand how different this journey can be. My role is to help you find what works best for your babies and your family’s rhythm.
Yes — I’ll create a realistic plan to protect supply and fit your lifestyle.
I provide specialized support for preemies and NICU grads, focusing on growth and feeding readiness.
Absolutely — I can help with bottle choice, flow rates, best practices for tandem bottle feeding, and provide guidance on successfully combo-feeding twins.
Practical & Logistics
We’ll start by discussing your feeding goals and any challenges you’re facing. Depending on your needs, I may observe a feeding or pumping session to offer hands-on guidance. Together, we’ll set realistic expectations, talk through strategies that fit your family, and wrap up with a clear plan for next steps so you leave feeling confident and supported.
All you truly need is a device with a camera and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. You never need to arrange childcare—your twins (and any older children) are absolutely welcome to be present. My goal is to make these sessions as stress-free as possible for you. As a twin parent myself, I understand how unpredictable home life can be, and I’m always patient if you need to step away, tend to your babies, or take a moment during our time together.
Yes! I fully support families through both exclusive pumping and weaning. For exclusive pumpers, I’ve developed a twin-focused approach that helps maximize milk production in fewer sessions per day, making the process more manageable. If you’re ready to begin weaning, I’ll provide a step-by-step plan that keeps you comfortable while meeting your baby’s needs. In either case, you’ll receive a realistic plan designed around your goals.
Often within a few days, with some evening/weekend availability.
Results & Outcomes
Yes — every family leaves with a detailed, customized plan.
Some changes are immediate; others, like supply or nursing transitions, take time. I’ll guide you throughout and provide realistic expectations based on your unique circumstances.
Yes — with your permission, I can share my notes directly with your pediatrician, OB, or NICU team to ensure seamless communication. I’m also glad to collaborate with another IBCLC, taking a team-based approach: your local consultant can provide hands-on support while I offer twin-focused strategies and guidance through telehealth.
Other Common Concerns
Yes — I offer two options: Expecting Twins, which covers the big-picture essentials of preparing for life with two babies, and Breastfeeding Twins, which focuses on feeding strategies and confidence at the breast or pump. You don’t need to take both the Breastfeeding Twins class and prenatal consultations—either one, combined with Expecting Twins, gives you well-rounded preparation.
Classes are in a group format and cover general education; consults are 1-on-1, more tailored and often covered by insurance.
Yes! Through telehealth, I work with families all over the world. For U.S.-based families, I am in-network with many major insurance plans, which often means little to no out-of-pocket cost for care no matter where you live. For in-person visits, I primarily serve Connecticut, but I have also traveled to areas of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York with a travel fee.
